This notice explains the limited information Wovi collects through this pre-launch website, playable prototypes and parent waitlist. It does not yet describe a child account; a fuller notice and parental-consent flow will be published before accounts, uploads or research involving children are offered.
1. Scope
This notice applies to wovi.world, the Reef Rescue and Agent Maze prototypes, the early-access form and messages you choose to exchange with us. Wovi is currently a product concept in development.
2. What we collect
Our first-party, cookieless analytics records page paths, selected actions such as early-access button clicks, referring site domain and path, campaign tags, coarse device category, browser language and event time. A random identifier stored only in the current tab's session storage connects events on the adult-oriented website during that tab session; it is not an account identifier and disappears from the browser when the tab session ends. For the world map and playable missions, Wovi discards this session identifier before storing events and analyzes only unlinked event totals such as map views, mission starts and completions. Guide-to-game choices are also stored only as unlinked totals. Cross-world learning milestones—first mission completed, second mission started and both worlds completed—use the same unlinked approach. We do not record which training examples, reward settings, routes or reflection answer a player selected.
Analytics records do not contain an email address, a child's information, advertising identifiers, the full user agent or an IP address. The waitlist separately requires an adult's email address and confirmation that the person submitting it is 18 or older. You may optionally share a country or region, a broad child age range, interests, main device and campaign source.
Like most web servers, our server processes operational logs containing request time, requested path, IP address and user agent for delivery, reliability and security. These logs are separate from analytics events and are normally rotated after 14 daily archives.
Please do not submit a child's name, email, exact birth date, school or other identifying information.
3. Local progress
The world map stores only allowlisted completed mission IDs, each mission's best star count and fixed capability names in this browser's local storage. It does not contain a name, email address, birthday, school, free-form text or cross-site identifier. This record is not sent with analytics, is not synced to Wovi's server and is not a child profile. It remains on that browser until its site data is cleared or you choose Reset local progress on the world map.
4. How we use information
We use aggregate website events to understand which pages are useful, whether adults reach the waitlist and whether the site works reliably. We use waitlist information to send requested product updates, understand broad market needs, invite eligible adults to optional research and protect the form against abuse. We do not load third-party analytics or advertising trackers, sell this information or use it for behavioral advertising.
5. Storage and retention
Raw analytics events are stored on infrastructure we control and automatically removed after 90 days. Anonymous aggregate counts may be retained longer. Waitlist submissions are stored separately with limited access and retained while developing Wovi or until you unsubscribe or request deletion, unless a shorter or longer period is required for security or law. Local progress is controlled by the browser as described above. Internet services cannot promise absolute security.
6. International use
Wovi is intended for a global audience. Information may be processed in a country different from yours. Before a public product launch, we will update regional disclosures and transfer safeguards as applicable.
7. Children's privacy
The world map, Reef Rescue and Agent Maze prototypes may be explored by families, including children with adult guidance. They do not request a name, contact details, account, upload or free-form message, and their aggregate product events are stored without a session identifier. Agent Maze build links contain only two numeric reward settings. The waitlist remains for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly use the site to collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us so we can delete it. Child accounts, parental consent and age-appropriate design will require separate safeguards before launch.
8. Your choices
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, Wovi does not send optional analytics events. You can clear locally stored learning progress from the world map, unsubscribe through any Wovi email or ask to access, correct or delete waitlist information by emailing us. Applicable law may provide additional privacy rights.
9. Changes
We may update this notice as the product and legal requirements develop. We will change the effective date and provide additional notice when a change is material.
