Living worlds

A world that remembers every choice.

Instead of isolated puzzles, Wovi is being designed as a connected simulation. Agents act, systems respond and the learner builds a model of why.

••
WORLD MEMORY12 choices retained

A world model is an internal representation of how a world works—its state, relationships and likely next outcomes.

Plain-language working definition for families

World models, made tangible

Predict. Observe.
Update your thinking.

Children already build mental models when they play: “If I do this, maybe that happens.” Wovi makes the loop explicit and connects it to how intelligent systems learn and plan.

Wovi may use generative and simulation models behind bounded experiences. “Living world” describes the learning design, not a claim that the system is conscious.

Four properties

What makes a world feel alive?

Persistent state

Resources, relationships and past choices can carry into the next mission.

Connected systems

Changing one variable can affect several people, places and goals.

Multiple agents

Different goals create cooperation, coordination and conflict.

Uncertain outcomes

Learners must test assumptions instead of following a fixed recipe.

A mission across time

Today's solution becomes
tomorrow's evidence.

DAY 01Train reef scouts

Fast sensors find more warning signs.

DAY 07Unexpected alarms

Too many false alerts drain resources.

DAY 12Rebalance the system

Compare costs, tune thresholds and add human review.

Not an open sandbox

Freedom needs good boundaries

For children, a “world” should not mean unrestricted generation. Wovi's planned experiences use authored goals, constrained tools and age-appropriate safety layers.

Authored scenarios

Clear learning goals and carefully chosen dilemmas.

Bounded AI actions

Tools and outputs limited to the current mission.

Observable behavior

Children see evidence rather than hidden magic.
